Poems & Plates explores the space between food and words. Each piece begins with a poem, often drawn from life in professional kitchens, and becomes a starting point for creating food. The dishes aren’t simply recipes paired with writing; they’re another expression of the same idea, translating the humour, memories, frustrations and contradictions of kitchen life onto the plate.
